The National Fatherhood Leader's Group works to secure federal funding for fatherhood programs across the country.

US Department of Health and Human Services Response to NFLG Advocacy
On behalf of the responsible fatherhood field, NFLG continues to advocate and promote the field and its interests. After the Pathways to Responsible Fatherhood grants were announced by the Department of Health and Human Services in October 2011, NFLG sent a letter to DHHS Secretary Sebelius expressing concerns about the guidance for grant preparation and the selection process. Earl Johnson, Director of the Office of Family Assistance, Administration for Families and Children, DHHS, recently sent a reply.  Be assured that NFLG will continue to be engaged in the future as new opportunities to support and promote the responsible fatherhood field present themselves.
